I would like to thank Sandy Stark and Mrs. Bostrom for another successful Teddy Bear tea that was held for next years kindergarden class.
The band and chorus students performing in the Spring Concert will have a staging rehearsal on Wednesday, May 21st, at the Leland and Gray High School gymnasium.
The chorus students will meet Mrs Ullman at 3:30 pm in the music room on Level D to warm up, line up and rehearse their songs. Band students will meet with Mr. McKinney in the gymnasium. Carpooling is encouraged

3:30-4 District Band
4:30-5 Jazz Band
Please pick your child up promptly following their rehearsal time.
The concert is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21st, at 7pm, in the Leland and Gray gymnasium. The performance will last about one hour. Please stay for the entire performance.
Band and Chorus students should wear black or navy pants/white tops for the concert.
Attention NewBrook parents:
On Tuesday, May 13, all NewBrook staff are required to attend a training after school. Because LAFTER will have a smaller crew of instructors, the following LAFTER classes will be cancelled:
*Let's G.O.! (Jenny Aither and Robyn Ziegner)
*Cooking Cafe Primavera (Bobbi Jo Anderberg)
Jenny Wagner's class, Through the Lens, WILL be offered.
Students who are registered for LAFTER may stay until 5 if they wish; there will be snacks and outdoor activities, and there WILL be bus service as usual.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION WILL TAKE PLACE ON THURSDAY, MAY 22ND FROM 8:30-10:00 AT NEWBROOK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. BROOKLINE AND NEWFANE RESIDENTS WITH CHILDREN WHO WILL BE FIVE YEARS OLD BY SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2014.
The 5th grade student left to day on time and everyone seemed very excited. All smiles and no tears. Mrs. Biolsi will be calling the school later to let us know they arrived safely. She will call again tomorrow to let us know how the first night went. Enjoy the departure picture below for those of you who could not see them off.
