All students in grades K-2 will need to be accompanied by an adult to participate in JISP Wednesdays. Students in grades 3-5 can attend Wednesday JISP independently and will be assigned an adult volunteer chaperone. On JISP Sundays all students will need to have adult transportation/supervision as worked out by each family.
Whether or not the Wednesday JISP day happens, ALL adults who sign up for the chaperone pass MUST attend a MANDATORY MOUNTAIN SAFETY COURSE to receive their passes. Course dates and times are Dec 10, Dec 12, Dec 17 and Dec 19 1:15-3:00PM- be "on-snow ready" and meet in front of Stratton Ski School building. Wednesday chaperone roles can be: transportation to/from Stratton, helping in the rental room (gearing kids up/down), escorting students for bathroom breaks, instructing a small group of skiers/riders, assisting in ski lessons (crowd control). Additionally- all adult volunteers will need to have fingerprints/background checks completed before participating. Call/email Meg Wright to make an appointment 802-365-9510.
